CFI & WASA Technology: Integral Safety Unlike common antifreezes, Arctic uses a dual protective technology: Cold Filterability Improvement (CFI) modifies the shape of paraffin crystals to prevent their growth, while Wax Anti-Settling Additive (WASA) prevents their sedimentation at the bottom of the tank and inside the filters.
